I found a letter from Leonard Peltier today and decided to read it aloud and record for those whom might want to hear it.

I am not entirely familiar with the politics and narrative around the entire story and the actions of the movements of this time. Most of this stuff happened before I was born...and my entry point of awareness only begins around the early-mid nineties.

I read this letter with full awareness of the controversy around the incidents and with empathy and compassion for ALL the lives lost and affected still to this day by this tragedy. My intention is to bring to light an important letter on an important anniversary and provide anyone with some assistance in hearing and understanding the letter.
