The Talking Stick presents Pop-Up Musical Bistro, an eclectic evening of pop-up performances from the best. This year our Pop-Up Musical Bistro features Ostwelve and other special guests to be announced. Come hang out with us for the night on February 24th at the Roundhouse from 8-10 PM. This ticket includes catered dinner. This is also an excellent chance to mix and mingle with other industry professionals and lovers of the arts!

Ostwelve is a Stō:lo/St’át'imc/Nlaka'pamux multimedia artist based in Langley, BC. Are you ready for Sasquatch Funk? He is a talented creative force who writes & delivers some mighty words and music.

The party doesn't have to end there, come check out The Stew Jams Afterparty at Red Gate Arts Society from 10PM-1AM. Afterparty curated by Christie Lee Charles, Full Circle, and The Stew Jams team. Featuring local Indigenous artists and dancers. It goes like this: the band sets up the groove, the vocalists/MC's catch a vibe and grab the mic, and the rest is history! The Stew Jams is food for the soul, if you have yet to check out this amazing community night this is your chance, you will not regret it.

This event is part of the Muyuntstut ta Slumlum Industry Series, which aims to offer learning and career- enhancing opportunities to Indigenous musical artists through the sharing of ideas and knowledge and through the exploration of contemporary Indigenous music. Muyuntsut ta Slulum comes from the Squamish Nation and means "to submerge/sink/immerse yourself in songs/music". It is an open invitation to music industry professionals, established, emerging and aspiring, to work in reciprocity and from a strengths-based perspective to support and ensure the ongoing development of Indigenous music. This series has been supported by funding from Creative BC.

As a registered non-profit Society, Full Circles Talking Stick Festival began as a way to showcase and celebrate Indigenous art and performance to a wider audience. From its humble beginnings, this unique and exciting event has grown into a full 2-week Festival held annually in February at locations across Vancouver. Now attracting over 20,000 attendees each year and still growing, we are noted as being the premier, multi-disciplinary Indigenous arts festival in North America. With a desire to appeal to Indigenous and non-Indigenous attendees alike, our programming focuses on the diversity of visual arts, dance, theatre, music, powwow and film in both traditional and contemporary formats.
